Tagulan sa Marso? (Rainy Days in March?)

On my way home, i was talking to myself  "tagulan na naman, matrapik, madulas ang kalsada, mahirap mag-commute", "di bale at least malapit na pasko at BER months na ulit", when suddenly i realized, it is only the month of MARCH??!!
I was really puzzled, why the hell it was raining cats and dogs in the summer month of march??
It was supposed to be hot and people were supposed to be in beaches, in Baguio etc..but why the hell is it raining in March??
Then from one article i read, this was really foreseen by experts to happen, it was called, if i remeber it right "Manifestations of Global Warming".
Global..warm...what???? who cares about this global waring thing? it was suppose to be a "merry-summer-month of march"???!!
They said that is only one effect of Global Warming, others are much worst if they would discuss. They said it came from too much burning of fuel, coal, forrest fire, man-made abuses on nature.
I was just thinking that who abused nature??? then as continue reading it came clear to me, that it was all technological advancement.
I taught that advancement in technology, is all good for the Homosapiens, but apparently, most of us now is abusing these technologies and harming nature itself. Conciously or Unconciously.
The sad thing is, those who are aware that they are harming nature itself, does'nt give a god-damn fucking care, as log as they earn from it????
Effects would start from flu, depleting the immune system, rising blood pressures, skin allergies, heart disease, cancer and the list goes on and on and on......
Are we suppose to care? are we suppose be worried?? are we still alive in the next few years??? what do we do???
Kayo, what do you think??

TAXI Driver

Going to an event yesterday, having so much handcarry styff, i decided to take a cab from the office were i work to the event center somewhere in ortigas.

In the cab, just right after boarding the driver told me "boss dag-dag na lang ng P30 medyo traffic kasi sa edsa.

Cant do anything, i said yes, by the way we did not pass the edsa,?!. then the driver started narrating circumstances of, how hard is it todays life, specially with taxi drivers like him.

He said that fuel prices rising, boundary fee is rising and other things that are rising (specially my blood pressure).

He said that "kung di naman kami magpapadag-dag, wala naman din kami maiuuwi sa pamilya".

I suggested why not stop by at malls where in majority of taxi drivers are doing these days, saving fuel and a sure ride.

he commented, "tanga yung mga yun, walang kinikita yun!"

Again I suggested, why not drive an FX instead, that is also i think would be different in terms of income.

Again he commented, "wala ding kita masyado dun, mapapako ka sa kakahintay!"

having said that, i kept silent until we arrived at the destination.

I was just thinking, maybe this guy is not really happy and contented with his current situation in life? maybe he needs more money that what he is earning right now? or maybe he wants to be rich by jockpotting the lottery!!??

I was like him tough, never being contented, never giving thanks to even having passing thru life's difficulties in every day life.

never had the time to smile and say thanks. of course we need to dream! and we need to dream big!! hope for the very best that life can offer!!

But what if the best is not available? today, tommorow or maybe in not even in the near future??? do we stop smiling? do we stop dreaming?? do we stop hoping for the best??? do we blame others?? or we must blame ourselves? and forgive ourselves? then we move forward??

we may have stop loving, we may have stop having faith, we may have lost our wealth, but please never ever loose HOPE...

Serbisyo,Hindi Negosyo (Service not Business)

This morning I came accross a sticker that was posted above the LRT's sliding door, it says "Serbisyo, Hindi Negosyo (Service not Business)".

Firstly, i think that lrt management does prohibit any form of non-approved/authorized posting of any relevant material inside the train or station, so this might be a form of vandalism if the terminology would allow.

Secondly, that the individual who posted it must be really  "pisted off" by the upcoming "bongacious" price hike of this public transport vehicle!

I have nothing agaisnt any form of self expression, as what i am doing is one form of it, what troubles me is the logic behind the campaign?? Serbisyo hindi Negosyo??

I was just thinking that, LRT is in fact a business in the Transport Service Industry, it has incorporators, it has investors who shed out money to the country (that until now the government could not decently pay) for us to be able to avail of a particular transport service.

Indeed that LRT Management need to do something to produce funds to pay for their debts in terms of loans from different people/organizations.

I think that it is the same principle being applied by one who borrows money from an organization/individual and then laters on pay for the debt they owed.

If increasing the fare hike for this transport service would be one of the many solutions avaible to pay for the loans they have aquired, then i think that is logical.

If some other people said that "baka kinurakot lang ng iba ung dapat ipinangbayad dyan sa utang ng LRT" then that would be again another story to tell and think about.

But in principle, this is a business that needs to pay for its operating costs etc.. and would need to find solutions to address the problem. If fair hike is badly needed then so be it.

But i think that if LRT/MRT would increase their fare, I think there should be no more BODY WREKING mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Meaning, SERVICES should and needed to improve for the RIDING PUBLIC which is by the way LRT/MRT management your CUSTOMERS.

So i think the campaign should be "OK LANG TAAS PRESYO, AYUSIN NYO NAMAN SERBISYO NYO!!!" mga put-tang-in a glass of water kayo!

3 Days Sale, Sale ba talaga? (is it really on sale?)

Last night my eldest son John, openned up a topic regarding this SALE thing at primary malls around the metropolis.  He narated that he learned from one of his instructor in his Economics subject said that SALE items in the malls were not really in the mere sense of the word is on bargain.

Being  employed in a company that has been a primary supplier of consumer goods in tthe mall, i explained to my son that items were really on sale/bargain. The question was, if this malls really SELL their items on as much as 50% or even others claim 70%, how in Ceasar's name could these mall owners profit from this activities to pay for taxes, salaries, wages, operating expenses etc..????

I was just thinking that, maybe they dont really need profit, they just do this for the sake of GOODWILL!!??
that they basically want filipinos to experience a sense of GOOD BUYS??!!
that they want to let filipinos have a GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE??!!
that this activity is not for profit generating but for simply GIVING IT BACK TO CONSUMERS???!!

I just taught, that maybe they could have arranged some "negotiation churvas" with their suppliers so as to have a great margin to be able to sell this items on SALE, but if this mall could ask their suppliers to cut down on their supposed-to-be profits from thier goods (suppliers), does it mean that this primary malls will also "slash down" on their profits for the sake of GOODWILL????!!! to all mankind???!!! or bahala na si kawawang supplier na mag shoulder ng wages, taxes, operating expenses of their own company, because we are the PRIMARY MALLS and we dominate the market, it is a great privelege being one of our suppliers??!!

PASAHERO (Passenger)

Last night on my way home, as always, I took the jeepney from monumento to bulacan (via NLEX), so happened that at current sitting arrangement, i was facing a couple whom i think were in their early fourties. I could not help but to over heard what the two was talking about (simply because of the sitting arrangement and with thier loud voices every body i think was hearing it).

But I did not pay attention to it, since im also busy readig an article from a collegiate gazette for report preparation purposes.

But what stunned me was that when they were about to alight the jeepney, they said "para" (signal to the driver to stop), the driver which was around his early 50's did not heard the first signal. It was only a few meters then, that the driver was able to stop the vehicle.

The woman said to his husban "ito naman hindi pa pumara kaagad" the husband replied "pumara ako kaagad" it a disgussed manner, and made blames to the poor driver.

I was just thinking, why such reactions coming from such well-dressed people? from such educated people (from the fact fact that i over heard their discussion)? from people who think they are so good in life?

I felt that most of us do really have an ATTITUDE? i think we always believe that we are BETTER than others?? yes an old driver should be retiring from that job, but that would be another issue, what i was thinking at that time, is the reaction RIGHT or WRONG? would it affect others? would it degrade others? are we in the first place concerned about others feelings? do we care??

Simple things we do, say and think which might give a damaging effect, and I know somebody out there would say "Alam ko na yan!" but if we know the value of it, why not practice it???

LRT/MRT

I use to get up early in the morning to have so much time at hand to prepare for BODY WRECKING ride at LRT/MRT (Light Rail Transit/Metro Rail Transit). I really cant understand why is it that for the past 15 years or so, I am still encountering the same mishaps when riding this public transport vehicle.

But in fairness to this government manned transport vehicle, it provided a great relief for the riding public in terms of metro traffic and polluting inconvenience (well there is still pollution inside the train tough if you know what i mean).

Still, im just thinking why is it that people in the management of this public transport could not find ANY sollution to ease the burden of the riding public using this kind of service?? Im preety much sure that the so called intellectual minds of this government project could have calculated and accounted for the massively growing population of the riding public?? so as to avoid circumstances as being suffered today by the riding public??

Values, Courtesy, Respect for the riding public i think should be instilled, and yes they are always reminding the "pasaheros" daily in their PA "huwag po tayong magtulakan sa pagsakay at pagbaba ng tren" at may english version pa yan ha! but LRT/MRT management, i know that majority of the riding public would agree when i say, "not everybody cares" who cares? im late for work? the hell I care about those people? "tinulak ako, e di itulak ko din"?

The Majority of classes riding in these transport vehicles belong to the lower C&D market, I think that it is not enough we use are PA's to remind them of values etc...because they wont care, and there are much more important things to them than values, like "an hour late at work would cost much", "what would my family eat tom", my children's tuition fees etc..

So i was thinking we could find PERMANENT, RELIABLE, FULL-PROOF solution to this above that PA thing and security guards who are most often times are victims of disrespectfulness from the riding pinoys.

I hope that the government or people in the government behind the management of this are not thinking "bayaan mo sila, wala tayo magagawa eh! ganayn talaga na...kaya naman nila tiisin yan..bayaan mo tong blog na to..malamang nagtitiis din sumulat nito.."

Kayo what do you think???
